Sure it's been around but new to me. Watched a similar situation unfold after a kid lost his parents Blazer threw the ice with 4 people inside here on the great lake Ontario (Irondequoit Bay). Wasn't as bad as this but shredded the car to pieces trying to remove it from the ice. I stayed for most the extraction they used 2 tow trucks as anchors and one for pulling wish I had a cell phone back then.. They snapped cables a couple times and the tow truck was hovering in the air do to the force on the cables. Was unreal.
